When the idiot sitting alone in the corner of the restauraunt has straws stuck in his nose, because it is the only way to entertain himself.
It is only cool on occasions in which one "walruses" with two people of the friend variety, or if said person "walrussing" is popular. Those kids can do anything they want and have it considered normal.
