1. Plant-based;
2. A diet devoid of animal products such as meat, poultry, seafood, eggs or dairy products: a vegetan diet.
She eats a vegetan diet, but does not necessarily embrace vegan philosophy.

Vegetan simply refers to what you eat, and does not signify any "whys" which may motivate someone to eat that way.

Some vegans resent another person calling himself "vegan" when he eats a "vegan diet" but does not embrace all the values, philosophies and precepts of veganism, while at the same time "vegetan" is a useful word for people who don't want to wear a label - they just want to eat a certain way and not have their diet define how they describe themselves.

Vegetanism describes a dietary pattern that is fully vegetarian while strongly aligning with vegan principles
• Vegetans avoid 100% of meat and fish
• They go a step further by trying to reduce overall consumption of animal products as much as possible
• Whenever a practical vegan alternative exists, they consciously choose the vegan option
• Unlike pure vegetarianism, vegetanism is not only about avoiding meat
• It includes a clear orientation toward vegan ideology, especially regarding:
animal welfare
• sustainability
• conscious and responsible consumption
• Animal products such as milk, cheese, or eggs are not strictly forbidden
• They are only used when:
• no equivalent or suitable vegan alternative is available
• or the person has not yet fully transitioned
• The term represents a middle position between vegetarianism and veganism
• It is often used by people who:
• do not identify as fully vegan
• but already structure their lifestyle strongly around vegan values
• Vegetanism can be:
• a deliberate transition phase toward a fully vegan lifestyle
• or a long-term, honest approach
• At its core, it is about:
• reducing one’s animal-related footprint as much as possible
• without the pressure of perfection
I am vegetan. My food choices are vegetan.

Strict vegetarian

A vegetarian who avoids consuming all animal products (eg. meat, fish, eggs, dairy, gelatine etc.) However they still may wear clothing or use other items which involve animals (eg. leather shoes etc). This is essentially a vegan diet, but does not take the vegan philosophy of avoiding all animal products.
person 1: She is a strict vegetarian?
person 2: Correct, she doesn't eat any animals products.
person 1: Oh, thanks for clarifying that for me.
Man 1: here is your food sir.
Man 2: cool and good.
Man 2: *goes to eat food and vegetable jumps into mouth*
Man 2: I TASTE A VEGETAL! ANGERY.

Vegeta Effect

When the desire to surpass your rival (friend or enemy) motivates you to accomplish the seemingly impossible task/goal you are competing to achieve.

In reference to Dragon Ball charactars;

The painstaking task/goal is generally achieved first by the rival (Goku), which causes you (Vegeta) to accomplish the task/goal out of desire to surpass your rival.

Goku and Vegeta Backstory--
Goku was the first to achieve Super Saiyin (SSJ), leaving Vegeta extremely jealous of his next level power. It was an incredibly difficult task to go SSJ but the burning desire inside Vegeta to surpass Goku allowed him become SSJ without suffering the same strife that Goku had to endure (the death of a close friend named Krillin).
*John and Smith are competing in a video game, John is the first to beat a series of difficult missions after several attempts each*

Smith: I couldnt beat it untill you did, then it was easy.

John: That's the Vegeta effect.

Quite possibly the most badass fucking character ever known. Vegeta/Bejita thrives in situations where any man wishes to set foot in, and comes out a TOTAL FUCKING BADASS every time. It's known that even Tyler Durden, the MacManus brothers, Triple HHH, Chuck Norris, Bruce Lee, John Rambo, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and Adolf Hitler worshiped Vegeta, and wished to be half as badass as the Prince of All Saiyans.

Thanks to Vegeta, there is a such thing as "beyond badass."
"You may have invaded my mind, and my body, but there's one thing a Saiyan always keeps...his PRIDE!!!!!"
-The best quote by the legend himself, Vegeta.

Mayonnaise is not a vegetable

Only the most educated of people can understand that mayonnaise is not a vegetable and know that it is also not a state of mind
That kid looks smart he probably knows that mayonnaise is not a vegetable
