Trad Cat is another name for Traditionalist Roman Catholics, especially those who are traditional to the extreme.
Trad cats generally attend Latin Masses, insist on their daughters wearing long skirts at all times, and don't very much like anything that is post-Vatican II.
They also tend to believe that sex is only to be had for baby making and must be done in the dark without any enjoyment.

Also known as "tradcat".
John's dad is such a trad cat.

You might not want to go to her house, her family is a bunch of trad cats.

tradcath

A traditionalist Catholic who prefers pre-Vatican II days. Though it typically just means a traditional catholic, the term has increasingly grown popular with young internet reactionaries, who hold conservative positions on the role of women, abortion, homosexuality, the latin mass, relations with Judaism and Islam, and race. Many tradcaths vigorously argue their beliefs on twitter or in YouTube comment sections.
The man attended a Latin Mass with his fellow tradcath zoomer friends. Afterwards, he dreamed of getting a tradcath girlfriend who would soon become his wife.

"That guy is so based", "yeah well he's a tradcath".

A "tradcath", or Traditional Catholic, is a follower of the Roman Catholic Church that does everything in their power to emphasize their affinity for Pre-Second Vatican Council life and, most importantly, aesthetics.

Tradcaths generally believe that the Second Vatican Council, or Vatican II, was either a disastrous event that led to grave consequences for the Church, or that it invalidates anything done by the Church afterwards.

Tradcaths have an strong attachment to the Pre-Vatican II Tridentine Liturgy which is conducted in Latin, and they oftentimes look down on the Novus Ordo (which is an equally valid form) and those who attend it. When they do reluctantly attend this service, they will most likely kneel to receive the Host in their mouth so that everyone else can see how traditional they are.

Tradcath men can often be seen wearing either button-up plaid shirts with khakis or their finest suit, and women may be found wearing long skirts and a veil.

In the United States in particular, tradcaths are known to put place conservative values above Church teachings. You will not see many Catholics outside of the US who have dispensationalist beliefs, despise immigrants and refugees, side with their head of state over the Pope, and are hesitant to donate to the needy.

They may choose patron Saints such as Saint Michael the Archangel and Saint Sebastian who are revered for their opposition to evil and yet their loyalty to the Church and its values are paper thin.
Person 1: Get a load of that guy holding up the line for Eucharist, kneeling in his likely expensive suit.
Person 2: Oh yeah, I saw him ignore the usher as he walked past during collection.
Person 1: Gotta be a tradcath.
Person 2: Lets pray for him and for ourselves for being judgemental of his ways.

To take something small, that doesn't quite qualify as a theft. Probably from the Danish "skæv" or the Dutch "scheef", both of which are pronounced similarly, meaning "askew, or not quite right'. To change an item's ownership without permission, but only something small and of little worth.
"I skeefed an apple off the neighbor's tree." "I skeefed some chips outta your bag when you looked away." "Don't skeef my chair when I go to the bathroom."

Hair spider

A tight, tangled knot of loose hair and lint that forms inside clothing during the clothes dryer cycle. It typically hides inside garments, causing an annoying lump or a phantom tickling sensation against the skin until it is found or falls out onto the floor during folding.
