Get the SYFMmug. Meaning "Shut Your Fucking Mouth", was popularised on TikTok in 2025 and has seen increased usage across the internet because of it, as part of the internet's rising hostility in recent years. Similarities can also be drawn to the former "stfu".
It is often coupled with the "Wilted Flower" emoji (🥀), which too was popularised on TikTok in 2025 and is similar to former usage of the "Broken Heart" emoji (💔) to show disappointment or to mock. (A satirisation of peoples attempts to use these emojis to express sadness).
While the intention of "syfm" is to mock and halt any conversation of the current topic, it sees significant usage outside of applicable contexts, typically by users who wish to be hostile.
