Stacey is a shortening for the Greek name Anastasia, meaning; Rebirth, resurrection, etc.

Staceys tend to be beautiful, geeky, and eccentric girls. She's not too flashy, not too preppy. But she doesn't throw on dirty clothes like she doesn't care.
