Taken from the fact that the differences between snowflakes typically have no bearing on the situation at hand, a special snowflake is someone who thinks they're entitled to special treatment because of their feels rather than suffer any logical accountability. A clear indication of said feels and lack of accountability is when a special snowflake experiences the first of the 7 stages of grief over their diagnosis with Special Snowflake Syndrome. The wounded creature can then be seen angrily typing on social media to redefine the term itself in a sad attempt to fool the entire world but themselves. After ignoring snowflake facts, they will pretend that "special" only has one strawmanned context to end up in literally Hitler land, no doubt munching on Doritos as well.
Special Snowflake: 3+3 is 5. Disagree and you're Hitler *eats Dorito*
Bystander: 3+3 is 6
Special Snowflake: 6 million Jews!
Bystander: You are really devaluing the horrors of the Holocaust here.
Special Snowflake: *scuffs up Dorito* Hitler!

A malady affecting a significant portion of the world's population wherein the afflicted will demand special treatment, conduct themselves with a ludicrous, unfounded sense of entitlement, and generally make the lives of everyone around them that much more miserable.

The danger of this disease is that the sufferers rarely, if ever, know that they have contracted it, and continue about their merry way under the assumption that EVERYONE ELSE is the problem.

This condition, if left untreated, can radically alter the carrier's demeanor, to include any of the following: a complete devolution to child-like behavior, temper tantrums, and/or fits of narcissistic rage.

When confronted with an individual suspected of harboring Special Snowflake Syndrome, one's best course of action is to run away. Further attempts at educating the carrier on the reality of their condition (e.g., quoting Tyler Durden: "You are not special. You are not a beautiful or unique snowflake. You're the same decaying organic matter as everything else.") will likely prove futile, and potentially hazardous to the informer.
-Can you believe that lady who was just in? Where the hell am I supposed to find the earrings that match this necklace that the manufacturer stopped making ten years ago?

-Hell if I know, but she definitely had Special Snowflake Syndrome.

The false belief that one's child never makes a mistake and can do no wrong. A parent suffering from this will stand up for their child in the face of a teacher when the child has clearly violated the rules and the parent somehow makes it the school or teacher's fault.
False belief that one's offspring is perfect and entitled to special treatment.

Special Snowflake Disorder or SSD for short, is a disorder that happens when someone thinks they are more special than anyone else when in fact they are not special at all.
Person 1: I hate normal people.
Person 2: Sounds like you've got a case of Special Snowflake disorder, because you think you're special but you aren't!
Person 1: STOP YOU'RE TRIGGERING ME!

Special snowflake’ syndrome, is a disease in which the subject believes that because she occupies a subculture mildly different to the mainstream, she is inherently better, and above them. The subject will never state that she is better, but it is implied, as is the belief that she is rare in her qualities, despite, in reality, being an only slightly less common cliche. Subjects suffering from this syndrome have been known to make statements such as “I’m the girl who’d rather stay home reading Harry Potter than get drunk and get ‘sweet hooks’ “, and will frequently act as if she is under tremendous pressure to act like a ‘typical girl,’ not realising that ‘typical girls’ are a myth, and those she looks down upon are not what they seem.
