Rare type of Cannabis that is only be grown in the suburbs of Boston and Boston itself, normally ranging from $25-$35 per gram. Often is either sticky and/or has a tint of crimson red. as of August 2009, the strand is most popular in the city of Boston.

A nickname for Vice Captain of Squad 11 in the Gotei thirteen of Soul Society- Renji Abarai- of the popular manga and anime series Bleach by Tite Kubo. Renji Abarai's hair is a deep red, and when he ties it up- which is all the time- his hair looks like a pineapple.
