A hardcore fan of the musician Emilie Autumn. Not to be confused with a Muffin, who is a less active fan of her music.
They can often be found wearing corsets, drinking tea, crafting, or "spreading the Plague" aka advertising Miss Autumn's music to the world.
The also refer to themselves as inmates in "The Asylum"

Both used as a hand gesture and as a logo. The iconography of the rat was an integral part of the stage show and has been used in costumes, set design, artwork and merchandising.

The hand gesture itself is used by Miss Autumn, Plague rats and muffins. It is also used in motion during the rat game.

The logo has appeared on concert posters, disc art, web design, apparel and press related items.

An individual who strongly feels that they have an acute, highly contagious disease i.e. Polio, Bubonic plague, Ebola etc. when in reality they have all but a simple cough and a mosquito bite.

Small, prolific and extremely intelligent member of the rodent family. Rats make fantastic pets and are considered to be as smart as dogs. They can learn their name and various tricks if their owner takes the time to teach them. They are extremely sociable and bond closely to their human owner.
In the wild they live in family groups, much like wolves, and have a similar social structure with an alpha, beta and omega.

The pet rat is the species rattus norvegicus, the brown or norway rat, whereas the rat associated (incorrectly, it must be said) with the plague is rattus rattus, the black rat. Domestic rats do not carry any diseases transmittable to humans and even wild rats are generally cleaner than most other wild animals, as well as the notable fact that it is impossible for a rat to transmit rabies to a person.

Rats have a very undeserved reputation, but this is slowly changing as more people realise what good pets they make.

A low life scum sucking person who violates our border by sneaking across or overstaying an expired visa. They are tax burdens upon those of us who work and are willing to obey the laws of this country. They have no respect for our nations laws and customs and therefore are deserving of nothing in return from this country other than a swift kick in the ass as we send them packing to wherever the hell it is they came from. They are a Trojan Horse that will bring this country to it's ruin by degrading our lifestyle, our culture and taxing us to death due to their illiteracy and impoverished status. They also bring with them diseases that we had eradicated like TB, leprosy, Chagas disease, and Hepatitis. They don't have the decency to wash their hands after using the restroom and you want to grant these assholes amnesty so they can prepare your Big Macs or salads in some restaurant that won't hire honest hard working Americans?

They are a plague, a cancer, and a scourge upon the face of this country. The only way to cure cancer is to kill the disease before it spreads. So let's start getting rid of this cancer before America dies.
