a person who engages in the profession of architecture, but wastes the majority of his working life on drawing and counting parking spaces.

Small talk at a party:
Gorgeous blonde: "what do you do?"
John: "I am a parkitect..."
Gorgeous blonde "Cool! Sketching, making scale models, philosophy meets physics...?"
John: "ehm, yeah, and what do you do?"
