A Taos Turn Signal occurs when someone turns on their turn signal either during or after the turn for which it regards. Although this action is common everywhere, it happens a lot in northern New Mexico, and has become somewhat of an inside joke among residents around New Mexico to call a late Turn Signal a Taos Turn Signal. "Every time I find myself at this stop sign, no matter who it is, whoever is in front of me pulls a Taos Turn Signal."
