Gaining respect from higher figures for no particular/ having respect for your style or the vibes you give off. “Clout” can also be used as a mother word for swag, not too often but you may see or hear it

To be clouted is to be hit or attacked quite heavily. It comes from the word clout, which also means to hit something hard. It can also mean you have a lot of money and respect, as clout has two meanings.

This is quite old slang but still used occasionally in the South-West of England. It derives from cloths or clothes and refers to a woman’s knickers, drawers or panties. It is quite disparaging and is used to described undergarments of the baggy Bridget Jones type or things so foul, tattered and disgusting that they should be classified as a health hazard
