a philosophy based on the enjoyment and overall relaxation concerning pain and or misery. embracing negativity and channeling it into something useful,
i say welcome dissapointment, i say lovefailure, i say enjoy the unfortunate, i say embrace the negative, then nothing can touch you , no one can hurt you. this is called Neo-Negativism
Being captivated by negativity. A form of depression in which you feel like crap and are falling down a never-ending gravitational spiral of negativity. Could also be used to threaten someone.
Used once by Theodore Bagwell (T-Bag) of Prison Break, and also once more by Gretchen of the same TV Series.
1. One who has so much negativity built up inside that they practically spew negativity/negative like a fountain spews water.
2. One who makes rude comments towards another without being provoked.
3. One whos only method of feeling better is to try making you feel as shitty or shittier than they do.
Leo: stfu.

OR
Jack: "I'm on vacation all week!"
Jill: "It'll probably rain."
Jack: "well at least i got my paycheck today."
Jill: "but ur car insurance is due and u owe me 40 bucks!"
Jack: "you don't have to be such a negativity fountain!"
Mistaken belief that young folks who were born immersed in things digital are somehow in a state of grace and older folks are cursed by their age and lack of digital conditioning. Arrogant and insulting division of generations into different camps first proposed by Marc Prensky but unfounded on any survey data.
With an insulting tone worthy of the original American nativists who hated immigrants (especially Catholic ones), Marc Prensky speaks of pre-iPod humans (digital immigrants) contemptuously. This is simply digital nativism, a kind of generational prejudice that is ill founded and unsubstantiated.
The notion that Arabs are true natives of all the many countries they have colonized. In Egypt this manifests as denial of the indigenousness of Copts, in Algeria of Kabyle and other Berber peoples, in Iraq and Syria of Assyrians and Chaldeans, and in Israel this manifests as the slogan "Jesus was Palestinian."
The aim of Arab nativism is to simultaneously erase the many indigenous peoples of the MENA and assert that only the colonizers are truly indigenous.
