Madyaker is a kayaking brand from the Uk that started in the late 1990s in Chorley Lancashire by Gaz Madyaker (Gareth Patterson) The word was made up from the mixture of Mad and the Yaker from Kayaker. Meaning Mad Kayaker. Madyaker started with paddles and helmets and then went on to do clothing after the British rafting team asked them to sponsor them. Madyaker famously produced the Shag Stick paddle which was the most wakiest shaped design with its butt grove which prevented flutter.
