Katrinans 

The displaced people from New Orleans who moved to Texas (and other nearby states) following Hurricane Katrina. Many of these people still don't have jobs and blame the government for their situation. Katrinans are frequently blamed for the rising crime rate, lower land value, and influx of stink, filth, and garbage into once-livable Texas neighborhoods.

Bill: Hey, Steve, didn't that Goodwill used to be a Macy's?

Steve: Yeah, but all these damn Katrinans with no job put 'em out of business. All they want are handouts.

Used to describe the refugees from New Orleans who got shipped from the Superdome to the Astrodome and are now fighting for gang territory in Houston, destroying our schools, and basically jacking up the whole city. They constantly bitch about being a refugee from New Orleans and want us to show them special favors
