karenizing The act of giving more information than necesssary when answering a simple question

karenizer Someone caught in the act of karenizing on a subject.
Question: Is this order going to ship today?

Answer: Well, we don't have all the parts, the ship to address is not complete and the contact phone number for the customer may not be good. I've called 6 times and can not get through. I have customer service working on getting me a good number. I'm not sure whether to schedule a truck or not.

Response: So, is the order going to ship?

No.

Then, don't karenize.
