A temporary condition brought on by the lack of internet connectivity and characterized by irritability, fidgeting, lack of focus, a general feeling of helplessness and occasionally exercise.

Steve: What's up with the glazed look on Meredith's face?

Brad: Well, she likes to start her day reading Perez but we have no connectivity and slipped into an acute case of Internet's Down Syndrome.

Abraham Lincoln's Internet Wisdom 

Shortly after the rise of the blogosphere Abraham Lincoln hosted a dinner party at his Cabin Estate and birthplace in Hodgenville, Kentucky.

After this dinner Abraham Lincoln read from his unpublished memoir: A Humble Man's Advice For Life in the Information Age. By the fireside he read many portions, but the section that most impressed his guests was this one, simple sentence:

"The thing about quotes on the internet is that you cannot confirm their validity."

For the sake of brevity many simply use the acronym ALIW when referring to this tidbit of wisdom.

Synonymous for a shitty internet connection. The term was coined by Irish gamer DaithiDeNogla on a Call Of Duty: Zombies match when fellow Irish gamer The Terroriser was having connection issues.
