A phobia of homophobia. This affects mostly but not limited to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, or LGBT activists. It is exemplified when a person freaks out and accuses another person of being a homophobe. It can be followed by a lecture by the homophobiaphobic about how the alleged homophobe should be open minded.
2. A person who is afraid of being perceived as a homophobe.
Examples of Homophobophobia:
1. "I hate homophobes. It is so sick the way that they hate someone because of a lifestyle choice."
2. "It's totally okay if you're gay. I mean, I'm not gay. But that's not to say that there is anything wrong with being gay! Don't get me wrong! I am not a homophobe!!"
