Gradepoint

To be forced to do something for a class that you would otherwise not do in order to sustain a passing grade.
Ms. Jenkins is being a b**** and holding us at gradepoint.

Held at gradepoint

In academia, to be forced to do something (usually cruel and unusual) while being threatened to suffer a reduced gpa upon failure to comply, in a similar fashion to being held at gunpoint.
I’m being held at gradepoint to rewrite the entire report because professor Smith decided to be a cunt to just me in particular.
