gadgetbahn

A transportation concept or implementation that is touted as futuristic or innovative, but in execution turns out to be more expensive and less feasible than traditional means, outweighing their usefulness. Examples include but are not limited to Monorails (most often cited example) Personal Rapid Transit, Maglev, etc, versus traditional means generally referring to rail, subway, and road infrastructure

The term generally carries a negative connotation, in that the solutions may be seen as an expensive 'white elephant' in the truest sense: more difficult and more expensive to maintain and add to without any perceived benefit other than looking cool

Beaver Gasket

A rustic, dauntless, and valiant facial grooming choice that consists of a voluptuous patch of hair encompassing the mouth region of a brave male subject. The purpose of this hygiene choice is to complete the seal between said males mouth and his counterparts Kennebunkport chowder factory as he performs traditional cunnilingus. Some have said this seal could be compared to that of a fresh set of head gaskets on a pristine 1993 Mazda Miata. Most often you can distinguish a beaver gasket by its distinct smell which is often said to smell like a mix of freshly cut timber and freeze dried goliath grouper. Also referred to as a goatee by the layperson.
At first I didn’t think he knew what he was doing because when he went down there it sounded like the sump pump in my basement after a heavy rainfall but then he grew a beaver gasket and now only thing strong then that seal is a fresh bucket of flex seal

1. Preceeds any noun that can perform an action, usually saving the day when it does. I.E. Go Go Gadget Can Opener - what you say before opening a can of tunafish for someone. Or: Go Go Gadget Shower - what you say before spraying someone with a garden hose.
2. Also you can say it to make fun of someone who makes it a point to always be the "handy" one in the group - carries a pocketknife for example - and offers help as if they have been hoping to all day.
1. "Aww, this beer isn't a twistoff!"
"Go Go Gadget bottle opener!" (procures opener from pocket)
(or) "Go Go Gadget tabletop" (opens beer on table edge)

2. "I think my wallett fell under the table. I can't see."
"here, use my flashlight" (pulls flashlight from pocket)
(sarcastically) "well, Go Go Gadget flashlight"
