friendlord

Someone that rents living space to his buddies. Often gets screwed out of payment, or gets paid in services or drugs.
Jonny lived in his buddy Eric's spare bedroom, but couldn't pay his rent on time. Luckily, Eric was a kind friendlord and allowed Jonny to clean up garbage at his other properties in lieu of rent.

friendwhore

One who obsessively tries to see how many "friends" they can acquire on websites with a "friending" feature such as LiveJournal, GreatestJournal, DeadJournal, Rooster Teeth Productions, Red vs Blue and other alike websites and message boards with such a function.
"I added three hundred people to my buddy list on LiveJournal!" said the friendwhore.
"You're a friendwhore!" replied the non-friendwhore.

A word used by event vendors (professionals) to refer to other event vendors that they've developed friendships with.

Contraction of the words "friend" and "vendor".

First known use of the word was in 2007 by Famous William Company.
I worked with that wedding planner 4 weddings in a row, invited her out for mimosas and networking, and now she's my favorite Friendor.

I'm planning a styled shoot and inviting my Friendors to collaborate.

I have a tight circle of Friendors that I refer my brides to.

Friendtor

Is there such a thing as a friend who can also act as a mentor? Sure! That's what I'd call a friendtor.

friendometer

A very rough scale, usually used in jest, to establish how close you are with a given individual. The friendometer is divided into two sections, acquaintances and friends, which have more specific categories within them:

ACQUAINTANCES

Weak Acquaintance - someone you know by name, and will say hello to

Strong Acquaintance - same as above, may have brief conversation. Friends-of-friends and friends-by-association usually fall into this category

FRIENDS
Weak friend - can have brief, meaningful conversation with, but see rarely. Some friends-by-association can be this.

Friend - the average, you can hang out with this person and have normal, graceful conversation.

Good friend - someone who you chill with a lot and have meaningful conversation

Close friend - someone who you always want to hang out with and can tell almost anything to

Best friend - someone who you would sacrifice a lot for, who you admire and love deeply, and to whom you can tell anything about your life; usually you have 5 or 6 best friends in the whole world, including family members
The friendometer is helpful when trying to assess one's closeness to someone, but obviously like all scales cannot completely describe the way the world operates.

friendwhoring

The art mastered by complete dipshits of stealing and attempting to own one's friends. The said friendwhorer would, naturally, be possessive of the stolen friends, treating them like property.
Person #1: "Hey, that's MY friend!"
Friendwhorer: (to Person #1) BACK UP DOOKIE! (to Person #1's recently friendwhored friend) Get in the car, I have candy. Oh, and never talk to that wank again."
