An amazing band from Chicago that used to be on Fueled By Ramen, an awesome record label from Tampa. Now they're on Island, but that's okay, we're still in love. Fall Out Boy has already released Evening Out With Your Girlfriend and Take This To Your Grave, and on May 3rd, 2005, From Under The Cork Tree will come out. Fall Out Boy is made up of Pete Wentz, who plays bass, writes lyrics, and screams, Patrick Stump, who sings, plays guitar, and writes music, Joe Trohman, who plays guitar, and Andy Hurley, who plays drums, and is extra-special because he's a vegan.

"Everyone loves a Fall Out Boy!"

I'm going to admit that I never heard of Fall Out Boy until I heard "Sugar We're Going Down" on MTV. I fell in love with the song and proceeded to go out and buy their CD NOT because they were on MTV, but because I liked the music and could care less whether or not TRL put it on the number one spot or no. Since then, I have learned all the lyrics to ALL of their songs, even -GASP- the songs before MTV stuck their big ass noses into good music and twisted it into a "trend" they know will get them a big ass pay check. MTV is not worthy to be called "Music Television" as it no longer plays any "good" music anymore.

Many of you will be shocked to hear that FOB is not emo. Just because Pete happens to wear skinny jeans and eyeliner doesn't mean he has to wear this stupid ass lable that butt-fuck MTV exec's put on him. Anybody who calls them "emo", I have a special message for you: Shut up you incoherent asshole. Maybe if you would actually think with the brain God gave you and not with your ass, you might actually find some good bands. Stop calling them emo when you don't even know what the fuck it means.

I for one listen to Fall Out Boy because of the music and if Pete and Patrick just so happen to be attractive its a extra bonus. So shut the fuck up and if you don't like FOB, that's your business, not mine, but don't fill someone else's ears with your half-assed "rants" because, believe it or not, THEY might actaully listen to the music and not what these asshole magazines say about them or some fat ass music critic whose whole life has been dedicated to sitting around on his blubbery ass watching MTV and listening to whatever radio station he listens to.
Buttfuck#1: FOB is so emo. I'm going to listen to them just because MTV says to and this magazine says they're emo.
Buttfuck#2: Dude, I know. Maybe if we listen to Fall Out Boy and think Pete is hot people will think we're emo.
(proceeds to kick their little wannabe-emo asses)
Buttfucks:(cry and go sit in a corner so their friends can take pictures of them and post on myspace to show how emo they are)

Fall Out Boy is a band with amazing lyrics and songs that's not particularly famous (I can't figure out why). I recommend "Tell that mick he just made my list of things ot do today", "grand theft autumn", and "nobody puts baby in the corner". Along with their entire new album, "Take This To Your Grave".
i hope you choke on those words, that kiss, that bottle
so bury me in memory
now ash yourself, yeah, out on the inside
said i loved you but i lied...

A pop/punk band from Chicago. There are many things to take in count about this band. Now, here's an opinion:

Fall Out Boy is a good band IN THE RECORD. I listen to many of their songs, I have their three "real" albums. They're ok, and some of the songs are really really good. However, it's a shame that they are not a live band (like many of the newer bands). Fall Out Boy fans have to admit (including me) that they, ahem, "are not very good live band" (they *suck*, as much as it hurts me to say it). If you want to hear a live band go hear Green Day, U2 or any of the older bands. Really, go to youtube and compare the live sounds, you will hear a difference.

Now, I don't know if some people are just plain deaf, but I can't understand what is going through their minds when they hear a bad Fall Out Boy live performance and say they are actually pretty good. I would agree if they were talking about the album. I consider myself a real fan, but I wouldn't go to a Fall Out Boy concert for two reasons:

1. They probably won't come to my country
2. I like their "album" sound a lot more (cause it's good)

So I see there's people who like fall out boy, and there's people who don't. It doesn't matter wich one you are, you should respect the other group.

That's just my opinion
Guy1: Fall Out Boy is a good band
Guy2: I would have to disagree, they don't sound good in concert.
Guy1: That's true, but they sound very good in the albums.
Guy2: I consider good bands have to sound good live.
Guy1: That's a point of view.
Guy2: You talk weird.

Fall Out Boy are a band from Chicago, which split crowds right down the middle. Also known as FOB (for obvious reasons), the band consists of Pete Wentz, Patrick Stump, Andy Hurley and Joe Trohman. Pete Wentz is often judged by people lacking in information about him as a poser, and judged to be arrogant. He has made a few mistakes in his lifetime, including a dangerous overdose on the anxiety drug atavan, but from what I have seen he seems a geniunely nice guy-as do the rest of the other three.
Their sub genre is often disputed, often branded by (mis-informed) people as emo. I would say they are pop, but I love them and don't care what genre they are. Many of their of fans are hysterical obsessive girls. However this is stereotyping(which I try to avoid) and there is a large percetnage of their fanbase who actually like their music, whether or not they are on MTV or TRL-these fans tend to be incredibly devoted and loyal, and generally awesome, intelligent people :P. People who hate them often prove themselves in need of anger management sessions, and suffer from a pathetically limited range of vocabulary(often resorting to offensive terms like gay, fag, shitty ass etc.) Please, haters, don't be so damn bitter. Leave Fall Out Boy fans alone. Express your opinions in more mature ways. And for God's sake, by a dictionary!
Who ever said Patrick had down syndrome, this is EXTREMELY OFFENSIVE & NASTY.You are disgusting. Other than that, have a nice day.
1.I really like Fall Out Boy.
2.I hate that band!
3.omgggg p3t3 wentzz is soo hottt!!!!!!11 he s gona marrie me
1.Please, you give girls like me a bad name- stop being such an airhead.
2.UGGGGGGGHhhhhh I hate Fall Out Boy!!
