A band. Not a gay emo band. If i can quote Pete Wentz here,
"If you wanna say we're shitty, just say we're shitty. No need to get homophobic."
Anyway, contrary to popular belief, they aren't emo, they aren't punk rock, and they aren't pop. There's a genre called Punk Alternative, which they belong to. Their most popular songs include:
Sugar We're Going Down
Dance, Dance
Thnks Fr Th Mmrs
My Songs Know What You Did in The Dark (Light 'Em Up)
The band members are:
Patrick Stump
Pete Wentz
John Trohman
Andy Hurley

My opinion of them is very high. I love their music because it has meaning, unlike sooo many pop songs. People who think that we fans are ridiculous just haven't thought about their lyres like we have. Before you make a condescending remark about their lines, just think about. It has different meanings to different people, so you might be surprised with what you find.
Fall Out Girl: Have you listened to the Save Rock and Roll album yet?
Ignoramus: By Fall Out Boy? They make no sense, how can you even listen to them?
Fall Out Girl: They actually do make sense if you think about the lyrics.
Ignoramus: Lies! What does "my songs know what you did in the dark" mean anyways?
Fall Out Girl: It means we listened to their songs when we were in a dark place. Think a little!

a band. if you like them fine, if you don't, fine. personally i don't and i've heard some songs, i'm not pulling that opinion out of my ass, like some of these retards. and they're not punk/emo. they are pop. most of the bashing retards wouldn't know emo if it stabbed them in the eye. emo is just another form of punk, not a bunch of pussies in girls' pants slitting they're wrists. i don't know what those tools are. and no need to be homophobic. you can express your hate for something without being a bigot. saying nothing but "gay", "fag", "queer" makes you look like a stupid, homophobic, asshole with no vocabulary, who therefore shouldn't be taken seriously. I've had to thumb down quite a few otherwise valid and funny defintions for being homophobic. not cool.
FanGirl:"OMG! LyKe.....FOB is so0o pUnk RaWk!"
Me:"No, not quite."
Homophobic Asshat:"Fuck Fag Out Boy! Emo faggots and they're gay ass shitty emo music!!"
Me:"Have you even heard 1 Fall Out Boy's of songs?"
Asshat:"Fuck no! I'm not listening to that queer fag crap."
Me:"So, how do you know they suck? Is it because most of their fans are girls? So, just because something is liked by girls it's worthless? Wow, a homophobe AND a misogynst!"
Asshat:"Miso-what? Whatever. Fuck emo fags."
Me: "Define emo."
Asshat:"...It's....those whiny little fags in girls' pants and makeup who.."
Me: "Wrong, tool. Why don't you go learn stuff for yourself instead of accpeting what MTV tells ou it is. I thought you didn't watch MTV?"

A band that everyone seems to think only has the fan base of young emo kids. BOLLOCKS! Fall Out Boy have had a huge fan base since wayyyyy before Sugar We're Goin Down got them into the charts. Just cos a load of kids jumped on the band-wagon doesn't mean that this is their target audience. And if some of these kids actually listened to their lyrics they'd realise they're not an emo band anyway
fall out boy lyrics: Dance Dance we're falling apart to half time - not particularly emo eh?

Founded in 2000 this band did not start out on top. With the newest album at the moment (from under the cork tree)there sound is different that it has been in the past.
usually Fall out boy's songs have a awesome title like our Lawyer made us change the name of this song so we wouldn't get sued.

Fall Out Boy is commonly mistaken for an emo band, but in fact, they are not. They are mainstream/pop/punk, and are sometimes called emo because they look slightly emo.

Here's an actual defenition, not JUST an opinion

A band from chicago formed around 2001. It consists of pete Wentz, Patrick Stump, Andrew Hurley, Joe Trohman. They are not I REAPEAT NOT, and emo band(see the get up kids for some). If anything someone could call them Pop-punk. In my opinion a very good band who's fans actually go deeper than what most of you think. Fall Out Boy did exist before they were on TRL, therefore their fans existed before TRL and thefore do not consist only of 13 year old girls who love guys in gril pants.

Catchy guitar riffs and unique vocals make their music better than anything you and your crappy yamaha bass could put out.
Urban dictiony person:Fall Out Boy is SOOOO Emo.
Actual intelligent Fall Out Boy Fan:You Fucking Idiot, no they aren't, listen to the lyrics you dumbfuck.

1. Radioactive Man's sidekick on "The Simpsons".
2. The wrong way to spell the name of the Chicago band, "Fall Out Boy". Usually mispelled by haters and posers.
Fallout boy is actually played by Milhouse!
