culinarista

a person who loves culinary delights, by like a barista prefers to create delights rather just consume them.
Jaimie is such a culinarista these days. He's doing "come dine with me" at his place this Friday.

She's not just a cook but a culinarista because she uses the secret ingredient of passion every time she 'plates up'.

culinazi

A term coined by a well-known chef, Daniel Glaser, a culinazi is a culinary snob or extreme foodie. Refusing to eat at fast food or chain restaurants, the culinazi goes for the hole-in-the-wall establishments, like a taqueria for lengua gorditas or offals at a run down brasserie. Knowledgeable in food and sometimes wine, the culinazi doesn't necessarily have to be involved in the restaurant industry. Always ready and willing to throw down in culinary term and trivia battles, a culinazi doesn't back down and will fight until their elitist view is seen and heard.

Fresh ingredients of the highest quality are what the culinazi brags of, knives and cookware are his tools. Buying locally to stimulate local farming economic balance and always looking for a culinary adventure are the name of the game for the culinazi. Stacks of books, memoirs, notes, magazines and newspaper articles fill the culinazi's closets, bookshelves and garage. Never succumbing to the drab writings of "celebrity chefs" the culinazi prefers cutthroat restaurant reviews and hand written notes.

Toe-Relieve-Culinarism

"Toe-Relieve-Culinarism" (noun): An unconventional culinary ritual involving the tenderization of beef, primarily using the third toe on the left foot and the fourth toe on the right, accompanied by a sense of spiritual catharsis and personal absolution. Following this process, the meat is typically prepared and served alongside a distinctive jam crafted from horse meat and pickled fish eggs, resulting in a unique and complex flavor profile that reflects both the physical and metaphysical aspects of the preparatory act.
Believe it or not, some adventurous foodies actually engage in Toe-Relieve-Culinarism, tenderizing beef with their toes before indulging in the quirky combo of horse meat and pickled fish egg jam.
