A full body entwined cuddle that goes on for an extended time period while doing some other activity such as watching TV.

A cuddlebuggy situation would involve watching tv with your child while holding them close.

cuddlebug 

A small, furry, living mammal which one can cuddle with. Most often exemplified by either A) a sweet and gentle young kitten curled up on a human's chest or lap, or B) a cute little kitten resting in a "loaf of bread" position.

I'm in bed cuddling with my cuddlebug.

A very close friend who enjoys cuddling, but does not have a sexual relationship with the person he likes. (See Huggy Buddies.)

2. Jo Ann wished she had a real cuddlebuddy who could sleep over sometimes; keeping a teddy bear in bed embarrassed her.
