classmaster

Someone who exudes so much class (i.e. maturity, intelligence, poise, worldliness, some stereotypical components of being a WASP, etc.) that he/she is immediately respected and noticed for his/her class. This level of class is also almost completely natural and effortless. A classmaster's class is constantly pointed out--it is that noticeable.

May also be used sarcastically to mock someone doing something totally not classy.
Maggie: Did you know Elizabeth's parents have been feeding her pâté since she was around 5 years old? She's also fluent in French.
Andrea: Yeah, and she wore a pencil skirt and blazer to school today. What a classmaster.

Katie: I'm gonna wear my sneakers with my dress because I don't feel like wearing my flats.
Rebecca: OHEMGEE, you're SUCH a classmaster!

Chess master

a. A person who can beat well over 99% of other chess players. This excludes non-chess players.

b. A person who has a chess rating of 2200 or higher, awarded by the United States Chess Federation, or a chess rating of 2300 or higher awarded by the World Chess Federation. Or awarded by his or her country by demonstrating outstanding tournament performances over a period of time.

NOTE: Having a 2200+ chess rating in any type of chess software does not give one a master status. S/he must earn the master title by competing in real life, over-the-board tournaments.

A chess master is also someone who is very knowledgeable of the game of chess and has true talent.
So he walked into a tournament filled with 5,000 players and he won 1st place. Wanna bet he's a chess master?

Chessmate

Chessmate is a more formal way of saying “checkmate” when you beat someone in an argument. It’s like giving them an extra chance to win, but if they say “minor spelling error” then show them this definition page to show them it’s a real word coined by me: aro ralsei, master of trolling.
“XxGenericUsernamexX beats Tom1452 in an argument
“Chessmate, tom.”

Chessmate

A chess position in which a king can not escape. This word is also often used when someone has won an argument.
And that’s why Gorillas SHOULD be added to Minecraft, Chessmate buddy.

Chessmaker

Someone who can predict the outcome of events because he built the board and the pieces, and he created the sequence of events of the pieces on the board. The Chessmaker is usually manifested upon a potent mixture of alcohol and high dosage of nicotin.
Chessmaker: double, single, strike out, home run.

Pawn: how did you know that would happen?

Chessmaker: I have four packets of snus in and knew that would happen. I am the Chessmaker.
