The consumption of alcoholic beverages, preferably beer, in the company of coworkers on a train ride home from work, usually on a Friday afternoon or evening.

Joe: What time is the beer train departing today?
Tom: Leaving work at 4. I'm gonna hit up the liquor store across from the station. Anything in particular you want to drink?

Beertainer 

The act of frequently buying beer for a friend in the legal profession in the hope that this will substitute for a monetary retainer and they will come to your legal defense when you (inevitably) run afoul of the law.

I ended up being charged with public drunkenness and needed a lawyer, but luckily I had Carlos on beertainer.
