Michael Joseph An Gof is a famous Cornish martyr who led a Cornish army on london in 1497. Although he was hung,drawn and quartered, he said 'I will have a fame perpetual and name immemorial.' He's commemorated in his home village of St.Keverene on the 27th of june each year.
