Ad hominem

An attack upon an opponent in order to discredit their arguement or opinion. Ad hominems are used by immature and/or unintelligent people because they are unable to counter their opponent using logic and intelligence.
Person A: I think we should spend more money on environmental protection.
Person B: You just think that because you’re a stupid tree-hugger.

Person A: It is crucial that we facilitate adequate means to prevent degradation that would jeopardize the project.
Person B: You think that just because you use big words makes you sound smart? Shut up you loser; you don't know what you're talking about.

Ad hominem

Whilst in an arguement, to avoid the point (thus a cop-out) and to insult the person arguing. Often because the person who results to the insults has no logical/intelligent point, thus they break down to immaturity.
Jon: I've made my point five times and all you've done is call me 'gay', way to resort to ad hominem, dude.

short for "ad hominem," meaning a person is verbally attacking a person involved in the debate instead of addressing the opposing side's argument or position.
Telling someone that they are wrong in the debate because their motives are wicked is an "ad hom"; therefore, the moderator will strike it from the record.

ad homilem

Falsely accusing someone of committing the ad hominem fallacy, usually due to a misunderstanding of the ad hominem fallacy.
Person1: I won't vote for him since he lacks character and morals.

Person2: But, that is an ad hominem attack.

Person1: Well, that is an ad homilem defense.

ad hoc comes from Latin and it means "for this", "created for a cetain purpose". When someone comes up with a reason not to do something or to support an opinion.
He hadn`t thought about the matter before, so when we talked he gave me an ad hoc reply.

ad homonym

Attacking someone's grammar/spelling in debate rather than focusing on their argument. An intentional play on the word "ad hominem".
Person A: I think you're argument is illogical. Here are several well-reasoned arguments why I think so.

Person B: It's "your", not "you're". I will now call you names like "illiterate imbecile" while completely ignoring the fact that you pwned me in reason and logic.

Person A: That's an ad homonym attack.

ad homura

(of an argument or reaction) directed against a person's anime avatar rather than the position they are maintaining.
While I might not agree with OP's points, the ad homura attacks should probably stop.
