a glam goth can be male or female,has a more unique fashion sense,they dress a little different than the tradition goth,they refence back to the old glam days(ziggy stardust,t-rex,velvet goldmine)combine with goths today or in the past,glam goths are more artsy,avant-garde wear brighter colors of clothes and make-up,they push androgyn to the limit,they care how they look all the time,most of them are straight,but act like they're bi(like most goths do)also glam goths lead the sex,drugs and rock n roll lifestyle to the fullest extent.

She usually takes a normally "glam" character or idea, then turns it into something that SFX artists would love. (i.e. she took Cinderella, and put the glass slipper in her eye. A glam goth is a person who combines current goth styles with high street fashion. They switch baggy bondage trousers for high waisted leather shorts, and ripped tops for black sequined tops. They may still wear goth boots, or simply high heels. There dominant colour is still black, but they add a little sparkle to it.

During the 70's and 80's, an affective movement called Glam Rock thrived the stages of pop audiences. Glam Rock could also be considered Butt Rock, they are similar but Glam Rock has a more pop audience approach. The usual aspect of a Glam Rock song consisted of a rhythm guitar beat, a brief keyboard solo, and an unusually long guitar solo. There was a long line of exceptions to that but The songs always left a lyrical imprint in the brain. Glam rock artists usually dressed "pretty" with face paint, makeup, costumes, unusual hair, and tight clothing. Glam Rock was very popular most likely because it resembled the work of Elvis.
Though Glam Rock is truly dead, the "Third Generation Punk" movement uses unusually similar aspects.
