A drug or medication that allows one to gain knowledge, either by mentally connecting to a yet undefined region or by activating an innate knowledge, is referred to as a venelumen. The term is derived from the combining of venom and illumination from the Latin root Venenum meaning poison or drug and lumen meaning enlightenment and knowledge.
The “Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil” contained an unidentified venelumen.
