The ludicrous author of an AP World History textbook that everybody considers to be ridiculously bad. The contents of the book are preposterous bullshit and are known to cause blank stares, daydreams of sea slugs shaped like withered penises, and hopes that someone brings up a topic (like alpacas) to distract from the monotony that is Spodek.

Spode

There's a few different definitions I've seen for this word. In the late 90's thru mid 2k's this is what it meant:

Spode was a synonym for chump, wuss, pansy, weakling, sissy. Most often used to describe guys that sucked at sports.

Guy 1: Johnny is such a spode!
