The act of smoking pot with your friend and then ditching them just to get high. Which is usually done when you have ran out of your own pot to smoke.

I loved the scene in Dazed and Confused when those kids were fucking up mailboxes during their smoke run.

It obviously means to take flight quickly, though I do not know the full history of the term...

It's when get in a fight with one of your opps and you shoot them and that's where the smoke part comes in. The gun is smoking and they just got smoked.
