The act of a golf ball refusing to go into the hole after a good putt during a round of golf. It is obvious to all players that the ball clearly should have fallen into the cup, but refuses to by obviously defying the law of gravity. The ball can be short of the cup or burn the edge of the cup, but everyone can agree it should have gone in.
