Sam Day 

Similar to a snow day, but can occur due to much less snow fall then one would think. May even occur when snow is falling, but has not yet begun to accumulate. Has also been known to occur due to ones significant other calling one at work to report a flake or two in the air at home.

Jeffrey took a Sam Day, due to 3/4 of an inch of wet, slushy snow that had fallen.

National abuse sam day is for all people who know a sam, he could be just really annoying or he could just be a twat. We all join in to punch him, kick him, slap him with your chanticleer or just any sort of abuse. It's always a male sam. Laws are still forced but with fewer consequences. It is celebrated on March 18th.
