A shortened term for the sacraficial lamb. Usually related with extremely burnt skin.

Implying that the burnt skin has been sacrificed to the sun.

Sarcazzo

the ancient and remarkable "sarcazzo" is a term fitting in various occasions, it's usually used to substitute a word you can't make out in your mind at the time in wich you should say it, often due to the fact that you're talking too fast or you just can't remember it, so instead you go on and exploit a resonant "sarcazzo".
the word is also registered to have other fascinating variables, such as the most infamous "sarcazzi" (wich is considered the plurar form of the word), or even the less used "sarcazza" or "sarcazze" (the singular and plurar female forms of the word).
the "sarcazzo" can be found of common use mostly in italy, with scarce manifestation in other countries.

ahh si certo, come dimenticare il... il sarcazzo tipo, no?
ieri mi sono beccato con una al cinema, ci siamo visti quel film tipo "la sarcazza romantica" una cosa di queste

True Sarcazians have been known to adopt the "insert sarcasm here" line

"I would commend you on your excellent work there but I am too sarcazy today"

Can also be used as a retort to a below par sarcasm line "Dude, you feeling sarcazy today because that was a rubbish come back"

Saccadic Chronostasis 

The phenomenon of glancing at an analog clock and seeing the second hand seems to take one really long tick and then resume normal ticking. This can happen with other blinking or switching things as well.
