(v.) could be used for anything: cursing (switch curse words for mirp instead), being random, anything that is boring and feel the need to just say it just because you can

Mother: "Emily, can you do the dishes?"
Emily: "Mirp, why?"

Friend One: "Yea, Brad was such a jerk! I can't believe he did that to him-"

Adjective. Used to describe persons who have adjusted or altered their lifestyle for environmental reasons. Crunchy persons tend to be politically strongly left-leaning and may be additionally but not exclusively categorized as vegetarians, vegans, eco-tarians, conservationists, environmentalists, neo-hippies, tree huggers, nature enthusiasts, etc.
