A disease only contracted by football clubs. It's symptoms include:
*Pissing about with the ball around the edge of the opposition penalty area.
*Having the majority of possession.
*Having significantly more shots than the opposition.
*Despite the two above symptoms, not scoring a goal all match.
*Somehow losing the game.
*Being booed off by the angry and frustrated crowd at full time.
It is a very serious disease which can affect promotion challenges, as well as form in domestic and European cup competitions, and more recently in some cases it can enhance chances of relegation.
It is still unknown when the disease was discovered, but it is appropriately named after Luton Town FC, whom the smyptoms seem to affect most often.
Luton Town contracted Lutonitis in the 0-0 draw away at Cambridge United in the BSBP on 15/03/11.
Arsenal also contracted Lutonitis in the 2-0 defeat away at Man United in the FA Cup on 12/03/11.
