It is a very serious disease which can affect promotion challenges, as well as form in domestic and European cup competitions, and more recently in some cases it can enhance chances of relegation.
It is still unknown when the disease was discovered, but it is appropriately named after Luton Town FC, whom the smyptoms seem to affect most often.
Arsenal also contracted Lutonitis in the 2-0 defeat away at Man United in the FA Cup on 12/03/11.
