A term used by people primarily from Northern Florida to describe a nigger. The term came about because the men in the black community back in the day used to wear shirts with their collars popped (much like the fags that do today with their Abercrombie shirts). "We were waiting to go into dinner and we were were outside waiting for the fam and these kids had prom tonight and this one guy had his collar popped. my dad says to me "he needs to fix it" and i was like dad u dont know bout the popped collars. He says, "it was what the Hoods use to wear" and i said the Hoods? and he says "Yeah, the niggers."

A game where if somebody is wearing a hooded sweatshirt, you simply take they're hood (while they're not looking), and put it on them. This is most commonly done from behind the unsuspecting person. When you put the hood on the victim, say "HOODS!". Sneaking up behind a person and putting their hoods up.

A group of people, usually young who stand on street corners with hooded tops, drinking cheap cider and wkd.
These people are usually spides,steeks and chavs They proceed to shout at passing busses, throw fire works and talk about how they are goin to "kick da fook out of dem wenkers like" and "brick da peelers like" These people need shot for being so thick. The younger of these hoods rarely attend school and boast about how hard they are, but everyone with a brain knows that these kind of people are pussys and would never pick fights unless they are in a crowd of their own kind. dont fuck with hoods unless they are on their own =D
