An absurd change that wrecks an ordinarily good thing by taking it to silly excess. Inspired by a video game advertisement that proclaimed, "What's the one thing better than ninjas? NINJAS WITH GUNS!!"
Whiny player: "They should make it so the orc and troll mages can heal."
Game dev: "Bah! Next you'll be asking for elves with guns!"
Game dev: "Bah! Next you'll be asking for elves with guns!"

A weapon that has existed since the 13th Century and has been developing more and more, as well as diversifying ever since.
They come in small, handheld forms known as pistols or handguns; or automatic, repeating-fire, styles known as machine guns; and longer types with stocks and that are designed to be fired from the shoulder: these are known as rifles. The many kinds of guns, the mechanical/technical information of a gun, and so on are WAY too long to list here. For additional information I recommend looking at the other examples below.

If somebody you don't like is driving, and you don't want to sit "shotgun", now you can call "not-gun", and get the privilege to ride in the back seat, and avoid the awkwardness of shotgun with that hated someone. Not-gun comes in handy when carpooling, or having to go somewhere with a dean of your school...really helps to avoid awkward situations.
