A term used by a frustrated person who believes he/she can ask the help of a higher power to make a traffic light turn green for him/her. Originates from firemen who actually have the power to make the light turn green.

When driving by a house with a green porch light on, Make sure to honk your horn in support of Marijuana use. Or knock on the door for a trick or treat.
Hey, look at that house with a green porch light, lets honk to support pot heads everywhere. If you knock you might get lucky, as someone could be waiting with a sack or a joint to share with you.
