faking out: drunk kissing. So you're at a party and you end up kissing your best friend or just someone who's really icky. It doesn't matter, cos you weren't making out, you were faking out (can also be used for popular people and geeks)

the fake out occurs when two playful lovers pull away while kissing each other, followed by an intense giggle. After the pull away one of the lovers performs a violent head fake, after a split second pause goes in for the kiss often a vigorous makeout session results.
