combination of "cringe" and "crickets". Typically functions as an
alternative form of cringe that places an emphasis on the speaker's lack of interest. Cringets is also used as a noun (in which case it may be singular) to refer to
something that is a nuisance, and is often abbreviated to "jet(s)" in either usage.
