The gayest band in the world. All they do is play horrible music and have no musical ability at all. If you like Coldplay, you most likely like your own sex.

The most awesome band ever, at the very least of 21st Century. To hate this band most likely means one of the following;
- You do not understand music.
- You only listen to emo/ screamo which is in fact not even music, but merely audio recordings of sad pooftas wearing eye-liners screaming about how shit their lives are.
- You only listen to raps, which admittedly have several good songs, but otherwise many high-school students listen to it because they either do not understand music, or think it makes them tough.
- You constantly have dicks filling your ears making unable to hear Chris Martin (the lead singer), and the band itself.
Their albums, Parachute, A rush of blood to the head, X&Y and Viva La vida, are must-haves to complete any musical compilations.

An Amazing Band, originally called 'Starfish' (thank god they changed it!!)
Have 3 albums: 'Parachutes' (2000) 'A Rush of Blood to the Head' (2002) and there newest 'X&Y' (2005)
The band members are Chris Martin (vocals, piano, guitar) Jonny Buckland (guitar, harmonics) Guy Berryman (Bass) and Will Champion (drums)
A lot of people debate over which band is better, Radiohead or Coldplay...and the answer is Radiohead, in my opinion, because they started it all. If Radiohead hadn't existed would Coldplay sound the way they do? Plus Thom Yorke has a better voice and piano skills than Chris Martin. Also if you listen to 'Just' by Radiohead you could never see coldplay writing/playing or singing anything like that... because they are like the mellow, caffeine-free Radiohead. Not that, that is a bad thing because they still rock. Some people also think they are overrated but they have amazing talent and a unique sound so don't knock it until you've listened to them.
4 Grammies, 4 Brit awards and almost 17 million album sales says something about the band.
Chris Martin is also huge charity work. Go check out www.maketradefair.com and see all the great stuff he's done.

The biggest band in the world. Working hard to please every fan and not to leave anyone out in there concerts. They have the best rated concert of the decade for a reason so go and see them. Coldplay have tried their hardest to to be rock band snobs. Their fans are not full of them selves with there "divine" taste of music like loads of Blink182 fans are. Many coldplay haters have been around for a long time but there is nothing they can say after they see them in concert

A band that is simultaneously over- and underrated. While their albums since 2011 have been mediocre and sold way too much, their early material (1998-2008) is unfairly hated upon, bringing us some brilliant, melodic and heartfelt alt-rock. Though some of this work is overrated (namely "Fix You"), it is just jam-packed with incredible songs. Below are a list of some underrated gems.
"Sparks", "High Speed" and just about anything that isn't "Yellow" from Parachutes (2000).
"Politik" and "Amsterdam" from A Rush of Blood to the Head (2002).
"X&Y" and "Twisted Logic" from X & Y (2005).
"Cemeteries of London," "Lovers in Japan" and "Violet Hill" from Viva la Vida (2008) - their best album.
"Another's Arms" from Ghost Stories (2014).
"For You," "Crests of Waves", "One I Love," "Life in Technicolor ii," "All Your Friends" and "All I Can Think About is You" from their EPs
