Budaisein 

A state of being when one has an itch to do something brilliant but is either technically challenged, mentally unskilled or simply not allowed to do so. It is something similar to having a 'writer's block' but only more apt to people other than writers. A writer may also have/go through a budaisein phase.
He's having his budaisein because the boss refused to let him smoke during office hours.
