Afflicting an extremely violent, fatal punishment to a person or persons who have callously ignored and abused the needs of others. Usually administered by an mob of angry citizens. This term is derived from the fate Benito Mussolini and his wife met, near the end of World War II., when seized by Italian citizens, hung upside-down and beaten beyond recognition.

Benito Mussolini

Italian Dictator in the Italian peninsula during 1920's to mid 1940's. Before he established the party "Fascismo" he was a part of the Italian Socialist Party. After seeing Europe plunge into the Great War, the Socialist party was heavily against the war while Mussolini was inspired by it; his vision of spreading his ideals through war. He was kicked out of the party shortly after. He founded his party, the National Fascist Party of Italy. Soon after, Adolf Hitler followed in his footsteps. The era of fascism in Europe had begun, all due to some bald man with a wide jaw-line and a mad painter who didn't get accepted into art school.

Guy 1: Hey who is Benito Mussolini?
Guy 2: He was that bald guy with a thick jaw-line.
Guy 1: Didnt he commit horrible atrocities like Adolf Hitler?
Guy 2: Yeah, no. He almost lost to some bros with sticks.

Typically used at work to describe a day of less than stellar performance when no other definitive causes are available to management. Associated with an actual day on the calendar, but the impact of the event is overblown for the purposes of avoiding accountability.

Too many associates didn't show up at the call center because they were in Linkin Park on a Benito Juarez day.
