Not to be confused with watered down “AMG” sport trim lines or packages. Real Mercedes-Benz AMG engines are hand built and bear the signature of the mechanical master who so skillfully assemble the engine. This signature may be found on a small plaque mounted to the engine. Also known as a “True AMG”.
