(n) an alcoholic drink composed of pure Scotch with not one, two, or four, but three (3) ice cubes. The ice cubs should be allowed to melt a bit to dilute the Scotch and make it very cold.
Drinker: "bartender, I want a Scotch straight-up"

Bartender: "how many ice cubes good Sir?"

Drinker: "make it a Butters"

Bartender: "three ice cubes it is!"
