The track stand is a bicycle maneuver in which the cyclist perches over the bike, trying to hold it almost stationary. The track stand may look, to a non-cyclist as if the rider is about to lunge forward, which may happen if the cyclist loses control of the bike.
To “track stand” is to hold a bicycle more or less stationary by perching over the cycle and rocking back and fourth slightly such that it does not fall down, as it would if it were completely still.
This move is easier to perform on a fixed-gear, or (racing) track bike, hence the name. The direct drive from pedals to drivetrain on a ‘track bike’ allow the cyclist to gently rock back and fourth. Timed track stands competitions now feature at many bike messenger and fixed bike enthusiast meets.
The move is also used widely by mountain bikers. A game on the online gaming platform known as Roblox that is based off of the series JoJo's Bizarre Adventure.
In the game, you roll completely randomized stands. The body, the head, the moves, color, the pose, and everything else is randomized. But, it's very hard to get anything good and the game is very unforgiving to the point where it almost seems like it's designed to fuck you over. Despite this, it is quite addicting though it has caused many to develop anxiety and fall into depression.
There is a theory that girls can get custom stands for free by pleasing the developers. There are also some members in the community who are friends with staff thus unfairly granting them free shit. In the Discord server there are frequent giveaways though they are either bad or suspiciously, people who already have really good stands or are friends with admins win. Most of the staff are actually heartless and don't care about the people who play the game. One of the developers is also known for being bad at taking jokes. Some of the staff including the owner once started an immense chain spam and then muted anyone who joined in, and even muted some people who were completely innocent. Allegedly, the admins are pedophiles who exchange customs for nudes from under aged girls.
If you are mentally ill or don't desire to develop a gambling addiction, then don't play this game.
If you're charismatic or an attractive female, you could easily get free shit.
