An old "cult" brainwashing tactic implemented by the government and certain tv news media and talk shows where the group can be directed how to think a certain way by controllers within the group who steer the group towards certain conclusions thus giving the false impression that a consensus was arrived at democratically.

A word used by many people to degrade a woman who has a bacterial infection, a yeast infection, or is on her period and it is "noticed."
Usually it is done in a sly manner and said when "thank you" should be said, but people will shorten it and turn it into "think" instead of "thanks."

Excessive thinking about a problem, while losing focus on the big picture. The result is an overly complicated analysis, and any solution coming out of this will also be complicated. And probably a fruitless waste of time.
Sean was over thinking the design of the website, and came up with a totally over the top solution that we could never actually implement.
