It refers to a mental condition usually afflicting fat, unattractive, middle-aged women who treat prettier, younger women with intentional disdain and scorn. This vindictive behavior is said to be the product of irreconcilable jealousy. Ursula Complex can manifest itself in private situations, within families, and even in public settings.
